Continuous development is part of the core of Plan B.

Automation through applied knowledge

As Plan B Automatisierung, we are constantly working on new technologies and concepts in order to open them up for use by our customers. Our claim is to use our research to design and continuously improve the assembly and production processes of our customers.

In doing so, we constantly pursue holistic approaches that combine results and findings from basic scientific research with application-oriented knowledge and technology transfer. This includes topics such as Industry 4.0, autonomous robotics or digitalized process technologies.

In this context, the digital transformation offers a wide range of opportunities and is a strong driver of innovation. We research and develop technologies and applications for new forms of human-machine interaction that simultaneously open up new productivity gains and make work easier for workers in practice.

Research with strong partners

In our research we like to cooperate with strong partners. In our region, we cooperate, among others, with the engineering research institute BIBA - Bremen Institute for Production and Logistics, the BAB - Bremer Aufbaubank (Website German only) and the EFRE - European Fund for Regional Development (Website German only) in Bremen.

We create trust and commitment with our custom-made machines.

Making the impossible possible is our motivation.

Iteration as a competitive advantage

Already with the establishment of our company in 1998, the founders placed particular emphasis on the further development of machines and processes in special machine construction. Enthusiasm for new solutions is thus part of Plan B's DNA: virtually every project and every resulting technical solution is a further development of previous concepts and techniques.

On the side of our customers, too, the need for automation is becoming more and more apparent. We support companies in every phase of such a process, even if they are still at the very beginning. Then questions come up like "Where do I start? How do I do that when I've been optimizing my entire production to manual assembly for years and years?" - and that's exactly what we have the answers for.
