We have been operating convincingly on the market for over 25 years. Our principle of "thinking one step ahead" is both a matter of course and a maxim for action.
Founded in 1998 by Björn Schlenker and Kai Stindt as a planning office for assembly technology, we have continuously developed. The entry into material flow simulation, the construction of our own workshop and the consistent expansion of the company with a total of five independently operating business areas, whose trades are closely interlinked and which together form a closed planning, development and production processes are important milestones on our persistent path to being a reliable partner.
We accompany you from the first idea to the delivery of the finished system and support the optimization of production and the associated operating processes. At the Bremen-Airport City site, we significantly expanded our capacities in 2022. Our new site has large assembly and production halls that enable us to pre-assemble even larger production lines and test them.
With our motto "Think one step further", we look for and find the optimal solutions beyond the beaten track. We live this in Bremen, in Germany and in the world.
The Plan B Automation team has grown continuously since 1998, focusing on the needs and requirements of our customers. For our national and international projects, we can rely on an excellently trained and experienced team of mechanical and industrial engineers, software developers, technicians, physicists, designers and qualified fitters. All of them bring diverse expertise from working with well-known companies from different industries As a company, we and our team have set ourselves the goal of being a reliable and competent partner for our customers. To achieve this, we ensure continuous training so that everyone in the team has the necessary knowledge, experience and tools to think one step further together with the customer.

Plan B attaches great importance to always being one step ahead and is therefore active in the areas of research and development with various projects. Firstly, in the Astradis project for the process-specific selection of AGVs for industrial introduction in SMEs and secondly in the INSERT project on AI-based assistance systems for concept planning in logistics and production.
