With effect from 15 January 2024, the Bremen-based company Plan B Automatisierung GmbH will become part of hoch.rein GmbH, based in Kitzingen. Plan B will retain its current structure and all employees will be taken on. The management team will continue to consist of the managing directors Kai Stindt and Thomas Lang.

The partnership with Plan B is aimed at the strategic orientation of the HOCH.REIN Group to establish itself as a pioneer for digital, innovative, intelligent and future-orientated technology solutions. Plan B is a further step towards the successful realisation of large automation projects in the field of special machine construction and services for well-known customers worldwide.
With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, the company is characterised in particular by the fact that it has its own planning office in addition to its special machine construction division and can therefore offer customers the entire value chain for the implementation of complex projects in the industrial sector. Special machines, in particular production lines, are planned in the company's own design office and then manufactured in-house. Its main customers are companies from the automotive, medical, aviation and consumer goods industries. The company currently employs around 60 people.
In addition, Plan B has a number of standardised products that are used in a wide range of special mechanical engineering projects.
