With the use of customized planning modules, we are able to support concept development through to operational production. All our planning projects start with a thorough analysis of both product and process. Our planning always proceeds "from the inside out", targeting your specific priorities.

Our unique selling point is the combination of planning and realisation of assembly planning projects. On completion of the conception and planning phase, we can provide assistance in the selection of suppliers and implementation, or we can completely realise the project with our department of special-purpose engineering, Plan B assembly solutions. Either way, valuable experience gained from such projects flows directly back into our planning team.

We develop and optimize your technical concepts

Plant designs

Beyond process planning, we are able to develop precise technical concepts for workstations, transport solutions, automatic stations and robot cells. With a profound construction expertise and the most andvanced tools for 3D-construction and simulation, we create a functional basis for subsequent detailed construction. We will develop a variety of concept designs, which will then enable all influencing factors to be discussed and considered according to their priority at a very early project phase.

The evaluation of existing installations and their optimisation also requires the same approach and expertise. In many cases, we have been able to increase the plant efficiency significantly with specific modifications. For changes of cycle time or the introduction of new products we can handle the complete conversion planning. Thus, the subsequent utilisation of facilities offers significant potential for cost savings.

As with process development we adopt a holistical approach. Technical aspects such as mechanical, electrical and IT connections play just as important a role as issues of operablity and ergonomics.

Project management

External observation has often resulted in significant changes being implemented. As external project management consultants, Plan B benefits from not being directly involved in operational hierarchies. You will be surprised how quickly we familiarise ourselves with your company, your systems and the characteristics of your production. We assume overall responsibility and open communication paths, despite sometimes awkward issues. Close integration with the team has always proved to be a guarantee for success.
