Through the recently entered into strategic partnership with Reelements GmbH, Plan B is expanding its range of services in the field of EV batteries to include the important field of recycling. After successful projects in production planning, the design of battery factories and the redesign of production facilities, Plan B can now professionally support the entire life cycle of battery production.
Future-proof e-mobility requires a sustainable supply of raw materials for battery production. Reelements creates this basis with its highly innovative, patented recycling process. The scaling of this process to an industrial battery recycling plant, planned for 2025 in Innopark Kitzingen, marks a significant step forward. Plan B brings extensive expertise in the planning, design and project management of large-scale industrial projects to support Reelements in the realization of this recycling factory - from conception to full commissioning.
In the context of the rapid growth in the electric vehicle market, second life use and battery recycling represents a significant contribution to resource conservation. The use of second life batteries in large-scale energy storage systems and the recovery of valuable metals not only enables sustainable access to important resources, but also paves the way for a local circular economy within the battery value chain. This helps to reduce dependence on primary raw materials and promote a resource-efficient future.
