At Plan B Automation, we are constantly working on new technologies and concepts to make them available for use by our customers. Our aim is to use our research to shape and continually improve our customers assembly and production processes.
We consistently pursue holistic approaches that combine results and findings from basic scientific research with application-oriented knowledge and technology transfer. These include topics such as Industry 4.0, autonomous robotics and digitalized process technologies.
Digital change offers a wide range of opportunities and is a strong driver of innovation. We research and develop technologies and applications for new forms of human-machine interaction that simultaneously open up new productivity gains and make work easier for workers in practice.
In our research, we like to work with strong partners. In our region, we cooperate with the engineering research institute BIBA - Bremen Institute for Production and Logistics , the BAB - Bremer Aufbaubank and the ERDF - European Fund for Regional Development in Bremen .
When our company was established in 1998, the founders placed particular emphasis on the further development of machines and processes in special machine construction. The enthusiasm for new solutions is therefore part of Plan B's DNA: practically every project and every resulting technical solution is a further development of previous concepts and techniques.
Our customers are also increasingly recognizing the need for automation. We support companies in every phase of such a process, even when they are still at the very beginning. Then questions arise such as "Where do I start? How can I do that if I have optimized my entire production for manual assembly for years?" - and we have the right answers for exactly that.
