A flexibly linked line enables the decoupling of assembly stations and manual workstations within an assembly line. The individual stations in a flexibly linked line are then linked by freely movable transport systems.
Manually pushed or electrically supported assembly trolleys such as the "Plan B WorkflowLiners™" can be used as a transport system. The use of driverless transport systems (FTS) is also possible. Thanks to the transport systems, the order of the assembly stations no longer has to be fixed.
With a flexibly linked assembly or production line, manufacturing companies can respond faster, more efficiently and better to the wishes of their customers. The timing of the individual workstations is optimized and the necessary staff time is noticeably reduced even with volatile customer requirements.
A flexibly linked line is best suited for small and medium quantities. Due to the high level of adaptability and simultaneous automation, a flexibly linked line also ensures a noticeable increase in quality in production.
